When shopping for your new fairing set, you are often confronted with a bundle of information that is difficult to decipher. Here at ABS Fairings, we keep it simple. We can assure you will be impressed by our friendly staff and hassle free business model.
All of our bodywork is custom painted to order which allows us to make any customization you would like and ensures quality assurance. This custom painting process takes about 6-8 business days to complete depending on the design. Normally from the date of purchase you can expect to wait only 3 weeks before your fairing set arrives at your door. When your fairing set is complete, we will email you a photo of your finished fairings for your approval. After you approve your design, your order will be queued for shipment and be issued a tracking number. Your tracking number will be updated in your account and a copy of the update will also be emailed to you.
Annual Paint Shop Maintenance Closure: The paint shop closes every year for scheduled maintenance through out the year. Any orders placed during this time is subject to an additional week of processing added on to our 6-8 business day prep and paint timeline.
Shipping Couriers: After completion, you can expect your fairings to normally arrive within 6-8 business days from the shipment date.
Our fairings are shipped directly from our factory, which is located in Shenzhen, China.
For addresses in the USA, the shipping service will be USPS Express Mail International.
For Canada, your package will be delivered via Canada Post.
For UK addresses the shipping service will be Royal Mail.
For Australia addresses the service used will be Australia Post.
All other locations will be serviced via EMS Express.
Tracking Information: After your order has shipped you will be emailed the tracking information. Every fairing set will have a tracking number. You can also login to your account at anytime to check the current status or review your order information.
Shipping Disclaimer: ABS Fairings is unable to control shipping issues that may occur from time to time, therefore are not deemed responsible for shipping delays. Once your order leaves the factory and is in route to your home, we are entrusting the shipping company with providing the best shipment service to our customers. Unfortunately, delays do occur and we are completely apologetic, but we see the same information as the customer does when the shipment is tracked. ABS Fairings provides tracking information so that our customers can track and contact the shipping company when there is a problem with shipment. If this ever was to occur, we appreciate your anticipated patience with the shipping company.
Unclaimed Shipment: Customer is responsible for tracking and signing for fairing kit shipment. If unclaimed and returned to sender, customer will be responsible for re-shipping cost. Please track your fairings and make arrangements for someone to be present to accept your package to avoid extra shipping charges.
Damages: Please inspect bodywork within 48 hours of signing. We try to package the bodywork as best as we can but from time to time parts do get damaged. If you receive a damaged part please take pictures of the damage and open a support ticket at: www.support.absfairings.com
Returns: We are a "hassle-free" company, and our offices are located in Port Charlotte, Florida. This is where all of our custom orders, returns, replacements, repairs, and customer service is handled. The customer is responsible for return shipping to our Florida offices, however you will receive a full refund less shipping for your purchase of a full fairing set, as long as the item is in "Uninstalled" condition and within five days of delivery. Please ensure all returned bodywork is wrapped and packaged in the same condition it was received to avoid a 15% restocking fee. ABS Fairings reserves the right to assess a 15% restocking fee for any order as deemed necessary by the ABS Fairings Management Team. All special order items and Ready to Ship items purchased will be charged a 15% restocking fee.
ABS Fairings does sell individual parts, but do not guarantee a perfect color match. Most customers say the color is very similar not to notice a difference. Individual parts are not returnable.
ABS Fairings does sell unpainted Fairing Kits made from 100% ABS plastic molded to OEM specifications to allow for precision fitment. Note, we suggest you test fit the parts before painting them to verify fitment.
Standard Design Cancellation Policy: Cancellation of order prior to “IN THE PAINT BOOTH” status will be issued a full refund minus merchant fees. Cancellation of order after “IN THE PAINT BOOTH” status will be issued a refund minus merchant fees, and a $40.00 restocking fee. No cancellation of order allowed once fairing kit is in “OK TO SHIP” status.
Custom Design Cancellation Policy: Cancellation of order prior to “IN THE PAINT BOOTH” status will be issued a full refund minus merchant fees. Cancellation of order after “IN THE PAINT BOOTH” status will be issued a refund minus merchant fees, and an $80.00 repainting fee. No cancellation of order allowed once fairing kit is in “OK TO SHIP” status.
Note, our confirmation process is a courtesy to our customers because we care. The "OK TO SHIP" is not required in any way and we can ship with out.
Shipping Damage, Defects, and, Missing Parts: A Support Ticket must be opened within 2 days of receiving kit. Photos and description of damage must be included in the support ticket to initiate replacement parts. Any support ticket or claim after the 2 day limit will not be approved for warranty replacement. DO NOT install kit if there is an issue! Warranty is voided if fairing kit has been installed prior to warranty claim.
Fitment Issues: ABS Fairings guarantees 100% fitment. If you run into fitment issues, you must open a Support Ticket within 5 days of receiving kit. Photos and a description of issue must be included in the support ticket to initiate the warranty. Any issue reported after 5 days will not be accepted.
Melting and Fading: A Support Ticket must be opened within 30 days of receiving kit. Photos and description of damage must be included in the support ticket to initiate the claim process. Any issue reported after 30 days will not be accepted.
Warranty Disclaimers: All warranties and liabilities of products are null and void if improper installation, improper use, any modifications and abuse of products occur.
Warranties are honored and limited to ORIGINAL PURCHASER of products ONLY.
APO/FPO Addresses: We currently ship to all APO and FPO military addresses for $59.00. Please be advised that shipping can sometimes delayed with APO shipping addresses.
PO Boxes: We are currently unable to ship complete fairing kits to PO Boxes. ABS Fairings requires a signature at time of delivery. If a PO Box is entered during checkout, you will be contacted for an alternate shipping address. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Different Billing and Shipping Address: Any customer that has a different Shipment Address than their Payment address will be required to send ABS Fairings a copy of the payment individual's ID before fairing kit is shipped. Please just take a quick picture of the ID and email it to email@example.com. Once we receive the paying customer's ID, we will send confirmation.
Change of Shipping Address Form billing address: Any customer that wants to change their shipping address will be required to send ABS Fairings a copy of the Payment individual's ID and a signed letter requesting the address change before the address update will be complete. Please just take a quick picture of the ID and letter and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. Once we receive the paying customer's ID and letter, we will send confirmation.
HotbodiesRacing.com All of our products are warranted against defects in material and/or workmanship for a period of 90 days. This does not cover finishes such as plating, or painted surfaces, discoloration or rust. This warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of the part, which may be proven defective under normal use. We will not warranty any part that has been abused, misused, improperly installed, or modified. Before sending a new replacement part to you, we must receive the original, defective part back first. We do not refund shipping fees. We will not be responsible for any labor charges incurred in removing or replacing any product under warranty. Products that are damaged, regardless of the condition or appearance of box, or lost by the carrier must be reported to us by filling out a Support Ticket.
